Inspired by summer this scarf was created to signify one of summer’s elements, aqua! Water represents inspiration, creation and changing in nature. It stands for transformation and introspection, for tranquility and healing. Water, the constant pulse of life!

This nuno-felted scarf is created from cotton gauze fabric in teal color as base and extra-fine merino wool (18 mic) from Australia and New Zealand ranging from yellow to turquoise. Additionally mulberry silk threads in azure and yellow blonde are used in order to offer a shiny effect.

It measures approximately 170 cm (66.9 in) length and 36-42 cm (14.2-16.5 in) width.

These pebbles are collected from the magnificent Greek beaches in my long walks during the winter time. I selected them because of their perfect shape and smooth surface. They are of the blue and at times the green color of the sea, and for that reason I named this series of felted pebbles -water-.

They are hand-felted with fine merino wool in blue, azure, light green and white colors, all sea colors. They are firstly needle felted and then delicately wet felted. They measure approximately 6-7 cm in length (2.4-2.8 in).

The attributes of wool in combination with the wet felting technique creates a soft but however thick fabric embracing the pebble tight. The pattern represents the waves offering a lively and vivid texture.

This cuff-bracelet is made of extra-fine merino wool (18 mic) from Australia in light blue color. Additionally extra fine mulberry silk fibers in light blue are used in order to offer a shiny effect which adopts azure and silver tints depending on the natural light. In the opening on the front of the cuff surfaces white lace in order to embellish it.

It measures approximately 7.5 cm (3 in) diameter, 20.5 cm (8.1 in) inside circumference and width 8 cm (3.1 in). The widest part around the model’s hand is 23 (9.1 in) and her wrist is 17 cm (6.7 in).

Its edges are straight though are not trimmed in order to give a natural impression. The quality of wool in combination with the wet felting technique creates a soft but however thick fabric. The mulberry silk pattern blended with the white wool gives a lively and vivid texture.
