“I dream of fire
Those dreams are tied to a horse that will never tire
And in the flames
Her shadows play in the shape of a man’s desire

This desert rose
Each of her veils, a secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this…”

These felted flower brooches are hand felted all together in 2 layers with extra-fine merino wool from New Zealand and Australia in dark red, orange, white, orange-red, yellow, light blue and green colors. No “felt cutting ready-made flower”, no glue and no stitches, except on its back on which a safety pin is adjusted and felted over with green wool. The -desert rose- flower measures approximately 18 cm (7.1 in) diameter and 48 cm (18.9 in) circumference. Respectively the -Sunday morning- flower measures approximately 17-21 cm (6.7-8.3 in) diameter and 54 cm (21.3 in) circumference.

“Sunday morning, praise the dawning
It’s just a restless feeling by my side
Early dawning, sunday morning
It’s just the wasted years so close behind

Watch out, the world’s behind you
There’s always someone around you who will call
It’s nothing at all…”
